Janet and Marci work at the Ventura store and are great SuperNutrition supporters. Janet has been interested in natural health and made the move to involve herself in a public setting to help those she meets by doing what she loves. Marci appreciates the fact that she can take control of her own health by working in and being associated with natural living. Marci says she's also grateful for all the education that goes on while working in her position.

As for their own SuperNutrition favorites, Janet is still trying out everything and getting acquainted with our selection, but Marci really likes the Perfect Blend.

Native Sun Natural Foods Market

Jacksonville, FL

Native Sun currently has 120 employees working between two stores in beautiful Jacksonville, Florida. Seventeen of those "Natives" make up the company's bustling nutrition business. Headed by Beverly Velasquez, Director of Nutrition and Ginny Nehring, Director of Special Diets, Native Sun’s nutrition team has become widely regarded in the industry as a leader in nutrition education, customer service, product research and standards compliance.

The Native Sun team frequently visits the factories of their major suppliers to check that all facilities and processes meet the Native Sun standard. They also follow up with standard compliance letters every 90 days to ensure no process or ingredient changes have taken place that may revoke that compliance.

Aaron Gottlieb, owner of Native Sun, opened his first store in 1997 with just five employees and 5,000 sq ft. Since then, the first store has expanded to 10,000 sq ft and a second, larger location was opened in summer 2006.

Beverly says the best thing about working at Native Sun is "definitely the reputation and report we’ve built within our local community and the natural foods industry. It is so rewarding to see happy, healthy customers in the store everyday and to be recognized by our peers for all of our dedication and hard work in the nutrition field."Native Sun

When it comes to SuperNutrition, we love all of the products we carry – otherwise they wouldn’t be on our shelves! We thank the SuperNutrition team for providing the natural health community with quality products, especially the Men’s Blend and Women’s Blend multivitamins. That is why we recommend them to any customer who wants an truly complete, once-a-day vitamin.

The Wedge Community Co-op

Minnesota, MN

"The Wedge has a fluctuating staff that hovers around 260 people, 21 of who work in our tiny but busy Health and Body Care department.

The Wedge started life in a sliver of a space in 1974, in true co-op fashion--member-owned and run doing mostly bulk business. We've grown to occupy a 40,000 square foot retail store with over 13,000 members, $30 million dollars annual sales, and a newly purchased certified organic farm.

Our store is nestled among very different neighborhoods near major interstates, so we have very diverse customers. Many staff are musicians, artists, writers, and other creative types with high, positive energy. In Health and Body care, our staff is exceptionally smart about and dedicated to health and wellbeing in their own lives and in their work. We're lucky to be like a big family.

Most testimonials we hear about are for the Women's Blend and the Menopause Multiple. Their menstrual periods are so much easier and regular. Moodswings, night sweats and other menopausal experiences diminished. Women tiptoe into trying them and then never go back!"
